I was so glad to accompany the Shunde students for a day. When we had lesson together with them, I was so impressed by their learning motivation and attitude. Despite the fact that they couldn't understand all the content the teachers taught, they observed, listened and jotted down notes seriously. I very much appreciated this learning habit. Also, they were very nice and friendly. They liked to share the difference between their school and ours. It allowed us to know more about their culture. I really hope to meet them again as it was an unforgettable experience to meet some people from other city.

It was a nice opportunity to see the exchange students from Shunde Luodingbang Middle School, our sister school to come to our school to have a short but fruitful trip last week. As a teacher of LTPSS, I observed the students from Shunde are all very hardworking and dedicated to their learning. They showed attention in lessons, as well as enthusiasm in acquiring new knowledge. It’s just impressive! I appeal to all LTPSS students to reflect on your study habit and learn from the exchange students. Good students should choose what is good and hold fast to it.

On Parents Day, I was so happy because I have shown improvement in my first performance report. It was also the first time my mum met my class teacher Mr. Siu. I was so nervous. They talked a lot about my performance and both of them were happy with my result. My mum was so delighted with my Chinese, English and Mathematics improvement. Last year, I received C in all these subjects, and now I have B or above. Thanks to my teachers for their teaching and I will keep on working hard.

Parents Day is always a special day. On that day, we could meet parents, talk about our kids and see what we could do together to make them improve. I was so happy to meet the parents from my class. They were all supportive. Every kid was given their first performance report. It showed performance of different aspects in different subjects, which allowed us to talk about plans on how to improve in that particular area. Thanks to the parents who came and I’m looking forward to meeting you again.

I was surprised to be chosen as an M.C. for the Information Day. I did not think I was a confident person. I kept asking myself whether I would be able to do it. Fortunately, in the M.C. training course, I learnt different skills and I was well-prepared for the challenge. The day finally came. I went back to school early to prepare for the event. I was very nervous when I was on the stage. There were many parents, classmates and teachers as the audience. I did not want to make mistakes, yet I did. I did not want to let my teachers down. I told myself to calm down and keep smiling. After I had finished my part, I went to the backstage and started crying. Ms. Tam, the vice-principals and many teachers came to comfort me. They said I was alright and I could treat that as an opportunity to learn. Now, I understand what ‘no pain, no gain’ really means. As long as I can learn from the mistakes, I will be fine and I will be able to do better next time.

I was totally impressed by the performance of the MCs on the information day. To be honest, it was really a tough job for students, especially for those S.1 kids, to stand on the stage and speak in front of so many guests. I would say it with no reservation that all of you have done an extraordinary job! It is absolutely fine to make mistakes as long as you can learn from them and further drive yourselves to become better. From your attitude, I don’t have any doubts on that and I am sure that you have learnt a lot. You should be proud of yourselves!

No pain, no gain. I have enjoyed a lot in this camp. I learned and tasted a lot of things which I could not learn from books. In this camp, we worked together in a group. As a team, we overcame obstacles and challenges together. We shared the laugh and joy between us.
Although this is the third time I went to a camp, I missed home a lot. This camp was unique, it was different from my past experience. The camp came to the end, but it was not the end, it was the beginning. I will keep this team spirit and the skills that I have learned from this camp and integrate it into my daily life, my school and the community.

After we have finished this camp, I believe all of us is a brilliant stars. This fit our school motto ‘Every student is a star!’ Lastly, I would like to say thank you to my friends and teachers who encourage me to join this camp.

To nurture students to become disciplined, confident and persevering individual, we went to the Smart Teen Challenge Camp organized by EDB and Hong Kong Adventure Corp last week.

The students have enjoyed activities such as obstacle race, foot drill, camp craft and war game.

It is great to see that students have broadened their horizon throughout the 5 days. They also gain valuable hand on experience by learning how to cook for together and set up the tents in the camp site for the 2 days 1 night hiking trip. On the last day, I can see they returned home with new ideas and perspectives about themselves.

If you have any suggestions and ideas for improvement next year, please do not hesitate to let us know!

I like Spanish Week very much becuase there are so many activties, such as dance performance, cooking class and music performance.
I participated the dance and music performance on Wednesday and Friday. While we were watching the beautiful ladies dancing, they suddenly invited us to dance. We danced together and even after the lunch time, I lost my mind and kept on dancing. On Friday, my friends and I enjoyed the Latin Music Performance very much. It is very nice to listen to the Mexican performers play the Maxican music.
I like Spanish Week becuase we are not forced to join the activities and all of them are so fun and interesting.

We met a lot of new things when the new school year started. First of all, we were happy to know those new teachers and the improved learning environment at the Opening Ceremony. Then, we had our new SA elected in late September. The new SA is called Turbo. I hope they will do a great job to serve our students and become a bridge between the school and the students. The parents evening is another event in these 2 months. In that evening, my mum know more about our school and had a great time with my class teacher.

Hi, dear! It’s been four weeks since we started the term. I’m so glad to have the chance to meet most of the parents on 27/9 and 4/10. Seeing so many parents coming made me feel so supported and warm. Thanks again for coming! We need the parents’ support and the kids need you too.
This morning, we had the inauguration ceremony of Student’ Association. I wish “Turbo” a memorable and fruitful year to come. Let’s work towards our goal which every kid in our school aligns with our core values and loves and respects every individual in the school. Have you ever thought of writing a note to a teacher or school mate today to thank them for their tender loving care in the past few weeks?
By the way, have you got used to our Assessment eRecord System? If you have any difficulties logging in, do not hesitate to talk to your ICT or class teachers!
